Today in class I learned why it is important to teach Science to students. Without scientific knowledge, we as individuals are dependent on experts, or more importantly, we are dependent on others. Teaching science can improve the quality of life on larger scale, meaning, students need to become familiar with the different types of science in order to understand various ways of life. Science can also aid in the development of language, logic, and problem solving skills within the classroom. There are many ways to get students interested in Science, and I hope use those methods and strategies to teach my students about the important of this content.
